Guided hikes, from a sunrise on Lion's Head to full days across the mountain.

The Peninsula, the mountain, the gardens and the city.

Eight private routes through Constantia, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Geoff as your private driver and guide for trips of two days or more.

Lion's Head's quieter rival: a short, steep climb above the most famous coastal road in the Cape, with Hout Bay on one side and the 8 km sweep of Noordhoek beach on the other.

Climb Cape Town's iconic Lion's Head with a registered local guide to a 360° summit view over the city and Atlantic.

Beat the heat with a sunrise start on Table Mountain's classic Platteklip Gorge route, with a registered local guide, then ride the cable car down.

Scramble up India Venster, Table Mountain's most exciting half-day route, with a registered local guide, then ride the cable car down.

Across the whole mountain, from the botanical garden to the cable station: forest, waterfalls, ladders, Victorian reservoirs and the summit.

The quiet side of the mountain at first light: up Kasteelspoort with the Atlantic below, across the Back Table to the hidden sandstone cracks, and back down Corridor Ravine to where we started.

Built around your goals, fitness and time.
The three great names of Constantia in one morning.
The same valley without the crowds: small cellars, owners in the tasting room, and wines you won't find at home.
Constantia wine plus the most beautiful coastal road in the Cape.
The big names, the Helshoogte views, and a walk through the old town.
Three family cellars in three different valleys.
The full Franschhoek heritage loop: slavery and emancipation at Pniel, the Huguenots, and Mandela's release, with three great estates in between.
Franschhoek's back roads and smallest cellars.
For guests with one winelands day who want both towns.
370 years of Cape Town in a morning: the VOC garden, slavery, the Castle, the Bo-Kaap and the balcony where Mandela spoke on the day of his release.

The classic day, private and unhurried: both coasts, the Cape of Good Hope and the penguins, with the stories of Dias, the lighthouses and the Simon's Town navy.
The icon without the climb: up in the rotating cable car, a guided walk across the top, and the story of the mountain under your feet.
South Africa's most famous garden on a private walk: proteas, the tree-canopy walkway, Van Riebeeck's hedge and the rarest cycad on earth.

Your own day on the road with Geoff: mix the Peninsula, the city, gardens and the Winelands around what you want to see.
Book two tours on the same day and pay 10% less than booking them separately.
Stories from the Cape

Road tours run in a Suzuki Jimny with room for three, or a larger vehicle for bigger groups on request. Hikes take private groups of up to eight; Geoff collects up to three guests in the Jimny, and the rest meet at the trailhead. He drives, and tells the story of each place along the way: the geology of the mountain, the fynbos, and the colonial and apartheid history of the city.
On the mountain it is the same idea. A small group, a registered guide and a route chosen for the day's weather.
Travelling as a bigger group? *Larger vehicles can be arranged on request.
